Nada Farhat, MD
Know me more.
I am an Attending Pathologist at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine. As a board member of the society for the past year, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with an astounding team of colleagues and trainees. In addition to attending guest lectures and help coordinating the 2019 President’s Symposium, I have evaluated the society’s website and developed recommendations to help improve the website’s usability. Alongside my extensive pathology training, which include fellowships at Tufts Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, are two graduate degrees in Communications and Public Health. This has given me the opportunity to personally work with a plethora of experts in the field. The opportunity to hold a leadership position within the society will help me foster academic growth. In return, I will do my very best to promote society activities and help continue to build a creative and rich academic environment.

I would like to try my best to help our society to be better and stronger.

Candidates for Secretary

Melissa Alexander, MD
Know me more.
I would love to be considered for the position of secretary for the NY Pathological Society. One of the things I enjoy most about practicing pathology in New York City is the sense of community that exists. We are fortunate to have great depth and breadth of pathology expertise at the myriad hospitals in the city and the New York path society brings us all together for the wonderful educational evenings. The society is something I love to tout when interviewing candidates for training positions and I would be proud to serve as secretary if elected. Thank you for your consideration.
